Two wonderful very affordable old and genuine stone houses on original land

The historical property lies in the centre of Istria, in the village of Radetici, close to the towns of Sveti Lovrec and Selina.

In front of and behind the house there are gardens. In front there is still the old well which was used for drinking water. In the larger rear garden there is a swimming pool (7×3 m), fruit trees, vines, and many varied rose bushes. A small stone hut with an ancient baking oven offers respite from the summer heat.

The property consists of two houses, one large house with two spacious rooms and a large attic with room for two beds and a large desk which offers a lovely  view over the surrounding wooded countryside. An antique oak ceiling and a pellet oven add to the fine impression of the first floor living room. From the generous terrace one has a fine sea view and sunsets over the Adriatic. In clear weather one can even see the Alps. The cellar provides two large rooms, which were earlier used for wine storage, which still has several wine barrels.

The small house provides a spacious kitchen and bathroom, with washing machine. In the living room there is a large fireplace. The stairs to the first floor are especially attractive with  wooden steps and landing. The upstairs bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with view of the rear garden.

Both houses were completely renovated 10 years ago. The floors are all either tiles or parkette wood. The walls are from the original white stone which was local to this area. The owner took care to keep many of the original details. The decoration corresponds to the historical character of the building, and most of the interior retains its style. Most of the furniture would stay in the house.

The nearest historical and worth-seeing towns such as Porec, Rovinj and Pazin are within a half hour drive. The wonderful Limski Canal is only 20 minutes away. There one has ideal swimming possibilities and fine gastronomy.

On the eastern side of Istria one finds the interesting town of Opatija, about 1 hour away. The 10 km long Franz-Josef-Promenade along the coast offers an impressive walk, which gives a sense of history. From Brestova there is a good ferry connection to the fascinating island of Cres.

The Italian city of Trieste is about 1 hour away.

We are offering an attractive historical combination of buildings in an ideal location, and with several other attractions in the local region, which would give pleasure and fun. Away from overcrowded cities and beaches can a village like Radetici be your refuge, for relaxation and health.
